A bantamweight fight between Chris Miah and Brent Crawley has been announced for MMAC 2. Miah, who has amassed a 7-1 record as a flyweight, is set to move up in weight.

The news was announced by the promotion on Facebook.

Miah (7-1) started his professional career, going 3-0 on the UK scene, before fighting for the flyweight title at Fight UK 8 against Mark Handley. Miah won the bout via submission in under one minute. Following the title victory, Miah picked up another win at Fight UK, before making his BAMMA debut. Competing at BAMMA for the first time, Miah scored one of the best knockouts of the year, stopping Mick Gerrard in the second round of their bout at BAMMA 18. The Englishman then faced Daniel Barez at BAMMA 20, and picked up a second round submission. Miah was then inactive for the remainder of 2015, having to pull out of two fights, both against Rany Saadeh. He returned to the cage in March of 2016 losing a unanimous decision to Jarred Brooks at Akhmat Fight Show 16 in Russia.

Crawley (6-4) made his professional debut in 2008, and went 4-1 in his first five bouts. Crawley then experienced the first losing streak of his career, dropping submission losses to Adam Ventre and Declan Williams. Crawley rebounded from the losses by putting together a two fight win streak, stopping Reece Street and Daniel Missin. In his most recent bout, Crawley faced Ed Arthur at ACB 47, but lost the bout via submission in the second round.

MMAC 2 takes place live from The Q Club, Birmingham on February 25, 2017.
