It looks like Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is back…

Having recently announced their first show in over a year – CWFC 75 takes place on April 15 – Cage Warriors looks set for a quick turnaround with a second show on June 4. But it’s not exactly what you may have expected.

With Cage Warriors 75 starting to take shape, the company have made their intentions clear in acquiring Welsh MMA show, Pain Pit. The show is to be rebranded as ‘CWFC Wales’, a clear sign that Cage Warriors are looking to establish themselves on the regional scene, and quickly.

CWFC Wales Statement

CWFC owner, Graham Boylan, made the announcement today via his public Facebook page. Head of Pain Pit, Richard Shore will oversee the running of the show, under the Cage Warriors banner.

With numerous Cage Warriors stars such as Jack Marshman, Lewis Long and Martin McDonough having competed on Pain Pit shows in CWFC’s absence, the move seems like a perfect fit for both parties.
