Fresh off the back of their highly successful Light Heavyweight Grand Prix back in March, Five Grappling are returning with a stellar cast of competitors in the lightweight division to battle for the title of Five lightweight champion. The event that takes place on July 15th will also feature a number of black belt super fights, including Keenan Cornelius vs. Matheus Diniz and Talita Alencar vs. Aarae Alexander.
The lightweight line up is as follows;
Gianna Grippo: Alliance black belt and multiple time world medalist at black belt.
Leanardo Saggorio: Recent worlds silver medalist from BTT.
Samuel Braga: Multiple time world champion in both Gi and No-Gi
Lucas Pinheiro: Multiple time IBJJF regional champion and Pans medalist
Brandon Walensky: Clark Gracie black belt with a nasty omoplata game
Francisco Iturralde: Worlds medalist at black belt and winner at lower belts
Wallace Santos: Has previously won Five Grappling tournaments and competed on several big shows
More announcements are expected in the coming weeks of super-fights to be added to the card.
