Ashleigh Grimshaw will head over to Beijing, China this weekend on just five days notice to meet UFC veteran Waylon Lowe in the main event of Art of War 17. Grimshaw, who has fought the bulk of his career at featherweight, will jump up two weight classes to meet Lowe in a 170lbs contest.Grimshaw was offered the fight after both Junior Assuncao and Gadji Zaipulaev withdrew from the bout.

For Grimshaw, this bout will provide him with a huge opportunity to get back on track after consecutive losses to Kamil Lebowski and Patrick Pimblett put an abrupt halt to his seven-fight, three-year unbeaten streak.

Lowe, who competed against the likes of Nik Lentz and Melvin Guillard during his UFC tenure, will hope to build on his unanimous decision win over Vaso Bakocevic last summer.

Art of War 17 is scheduled to take place this forthcoming Saturday from Beijing, China.
