A flyweight championship contest between Andy Young and Daniel Barez has been added to BAMMA 32.

The promotion announced the news via a press release on Tuesday.

Former flyweight champion Rany Saadeh is out of contract with the promotion, and therefore his belt will be up for grabs in this contest.

Young (11-8) is the current Interim BAMMA flyweight champion. The Northern Irishman won the interim belt at BAMMA 28. In that fight, which was the co-feature of the event headlined by a lightweight bout between Norman Parke and Paul Redmond, “Taz” submitted previously undefeated Dominique Wooding in the third round. The Next Generation IMMA fighter is currently riding a two fight win streak.

Barez (8-4) is also riding a two fight win streak. The Spaniard has fought for BAMMA twice, but burst on the scene in his most recent bout, when he defeated highly touted prospect Ryan Curtis to win the Lonsdale Flyweight Championship. Prior to that win, he earned a third round submission victory against Jamie Powell at Contenders Norwich 17.

BAMMA 32 takes place live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, November 10, 2017.
